The Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use facility in Dubai called One Central extension. This project involves the construction of a mixed-use facility on 53.5 hectare of land, which is being implemented in the following described three phases:
The first phase includes the construction of an eight-story C1 office building, a 588-room Ibis Hotel and three commercial buildings on 16.7 hectare of land. The second phase includes the construction of two, 90,400.00 m2 office building of eight stories and twelve stories respectively on 17.8 hectare of land. The third phase includes two office buildings of fifteen and eleven stories respectively on 18.25 hectare of land. This project also features the construction of residential towers comprising 1,300 apartments and townhouses, a 2,500 seat theater, four hotels of three-, four- and five-star categories comprising 2,000 rooms and suites, a 2,150 parking facility and related facilities.
